Antimicrobial shortages impact patient care on nearly a daily basis. When faced with drug shortages, providers are forced to use alternative antimicrobials. 

To assist clinicians and antimicrobial stewardship programs, KASIC compiled a library of antimicrobial alternative suggestions to use as a guide to mitigate shortage situations. 

The library is arranged alphabetically by drug with information on suggested alternatives based on indication.
